In this fasting month of Ramadan 1435 Hijri, Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama will meet and greet the citizens by visiting mosques starting tomorrow, Wednesday (7/2). In addition, Basuki will also attend break fasting activity held by regional working units (SKPD) in five municipalities for five times each municipality.
“So, there are a total of 15 events. But, it is tentative since Mr. Acting Governor is busy handling the capital city. He already knows all of the schedules,” uttered Utomo.
According to him, Basuki refused to be accompanied by echelon II officials in his Safari Ramadan activity. This is because Basuki gives them chance to break the fast with their family.
“Mr. Basuki does not want to be accompanied by echelon II officials. But if the mayors want to accompany him, they are allowed to do so,” told Utomo.
Later, the mosques visited by Basuki will be getting donation in the amount of Rp 10 million to Rp 15 million.
